Meeting 38 - Dispositional and situational terms

Meeting: June 12th, 2017
Supervisor: Menno Van Zaanen

Summary:

- We analyzed the term "objective test", I wrote it:

For  R. P. McDonald (2013)“the test is objective if the items in it do not leave any room for judgment in the scoring of the responses. Of course, it may be that the original construction of the test items involved some “subjectivity” of judgment. But it is objectivity of scoring that marks the objectivity test” (p. 17). He describes nine types of items responses in an objective test: 1. Completion answers, which is evaluate with two options (one if the answer is acceptable and zero if the answer any other reply); 2. Multiple choice items, which show one correct options and other distractor answers (one if the answer is correct and zero if the answer is incorrect); 3. Two choice –dichotomous item, which give only two options but only one correct answer (e.g. True/False); 4. Checklist, which give more than three options (the better answer of this options); 5. Matching, which associate objects/concepts/stimuli between two list of options (Amount of the number of correct matches); 6. Ordered-category, which an integer is given to a category (e.g. Likert scales); 7. A forced-choice, which has two options to describe preference (only can chose one); 8. Rankings, which from three or more stimulus the participant must to choice rank of preference (a number is given to a category); 9. Unordered category (a values is given to a category).

-  However, the subjective tests are more interviews or open writing test. We are          abandoning the idea of analyzing the tests with objective and subjective.

-  We analized the terms: dipositional and situational attributions.

- I sent your new version literature review at June 9th, 2017. We can make a review to              Introduction and Evaluation part.
